Leave it to Sigi to draft someone who was completely off the radar. Here I was all disappointed that we didn't end up getting Jack McInerny. Then Rob Stone mentions that Sigi was hoping to pick up Blair Gaven (taken by Chivas just ahead of us). Honestly, having seen Corben Bone play a bit, I figured since he was still available, the Sounders would grab him, if for no other reason, to screw with whoever might want him after us and really, he seemed to hold the ball well in midfield and might even see some playing time during the Open Cup 2010.
And who do we pick instead? Erik Estrada from Chips fame! Not what I would consider practical, but he is of Latino decent so perhaps he has mad skills he didn't display either on Chips or whatever that reality show he was on.
